Day 1: Fly Australia – Johannesburg. (overnight flight, arrive day 2).

Day 2: Fly Johannesburg – Windhoek. Transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Accommodation: Galton House, Windhoek – 1 night

Day 3: Windhoek – Sossusvlei. From Windhoek, head down the Great Escarpment into the Namib Desert for a 2 night stay. (B,L,D)
Accommodation: Sossus Dune Lodge, Sossusvlei – 2 nights

Day 4: Sossusvlei. Early morning Sossusvlei excursion, boasting some of the world’s highest sand dunes in the world. Enjoy a relaxed picnic brunch before returning to the lodge. Optional Sesriem Canyon visit or afternoon at leisure. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Sossusvlei – Swakopmund. Travel via the impressive Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons to Swakopmund for a 2 night stay. (B,L,D)
Accommodation: Centrally located guesthouse, Swakopmund – 2 nights

Day 6: Swakopmund. Drive the scenic coastal road back to Walvis Bay for a memorable kayaking adventure before returning to Swakopmund for an afternoon at leisure. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Swakopmund – Damaraland. Continue north and east into the diverse region of Damaraland, enroute viewing game and absorbing the vastness of the scenery along the way. Spend 2 nights in Damaraland. (B,L,D)
Accommodation: Camp Kipwe, Damaraland – 2 nights

Day 8: Damaraland. Enjoy an exciting 4×4 adventure along the Aba Huab and Huab River Valleys for a possible encounter with the desert dwelling elephants. Finish with a visit to the Rock Art and Organ Pipes at Twyfeltontein. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Damaraland – Etosha National Park. Visit a local Himba settlement before departing for Etosha National Park. Time at leisure on arrival at the lodge to enjoy game viewing at the floodlit waterhole or from the camp’s underground hide. (B,L,D)
Accommodation: Andersson’s Camp, Southern Etosha National Park – 1 night

Day 10-11: Etosha National Park – Onguma Game Reserve. Enjoy 2 full day excursions in the Etosha National Park for game viewing. Explore the waterholes along the enormous Etosha saltpan. Spend the afternoon game viewing in the private Onguma Game Reserve. Return to camp for a final safari dinner overlooking the camp’s floodlit waterhole. (B,L,D)
Accommodation: Onguma Tree Top Camp, Sossusvlei – 2 nights

Day 12: Onguma Game Reserve – Windhoek. Depart for Windhoek via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja. Visit Okonjima’s AfriCat Centre which focuses on the research and rehabilitation of Africa’s big cats. Enjoy lunch and an informative game drive and tour of the centre. Arrive in Windhoek early evening and transfer to hotel for overnight. (B,L)
Accommodation: Galton House, Windhoek – 1 night

Day 13: Windhoek – Australia. Transfer to the airport for the return flight to Australia, via Johannesburg. (B)
